At Brookside Guitars we offer a wide variety of classes to meet the needs of all our students:

We offer private and shared lessons in all musical styles for guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano.

30 minute private lessons are $30.

30 minute shared lessons (2 students, 1 teacher) are $15.

We tailor the lessons to each individual student and will provide all books/sheet music necessary.   As soon as the student is ready, he/she has the option to join a jam 

group with other students of similar ability and musical interest.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO LEARN TO PLAY THE GUITAR?

EVERYBODY LEARNS AT A DIFFERENT PACE SO THAT'S A TOUGH ONE TO ANSWER.  MOST PEOPLE START FEELING PRETTY COMFORTABLE ON THE GUITAR AFTER A YEAR OF PLAYING.  NOW THAT'S NOT TO SAY THAT YOU WON'T PLAY ANYTHING SOONER!  YOU'LL BE PLAYING ACTUAL MUSIC FROM DAY ONE.  CHORDS MIGHT TAKE A FEW WEEKS TO GET GOING.  BUT AFTER A YEAR YOU'LL FEEL COMFORTABLE PLAYING MANY STYLES OF SONGS AND EVEN DOING SOME BASIC SOLOING.  PERFECTING THE INSTRUMENT........WE'LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN WE FIGURE THAT ONE OUT.
